Sunbelt Solomon to present generous check to Solomon Fire Department in Feb.

Sunbelt Solomon, a leading provider of customized and sustainable electrical power solutions and services, announced Monday the recognition of the City of Solomon’s Volunteer Fire Department with a $10,000 donation in support of its community work.

According to Sunbelt Solomon the donation will fund new equipment and support initiatives such as the fire departments’ protection program.

These programs include educating and support community members about emergency response procedures, fire code applications, and public fire education.

The donation will be presented on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 7 p.m. in Solomon, KS at the Sunbelt Solomon Complex, which is located at 134 W. Main Street. Gus Cedeño, CEO of Sunbelt Solomon, will be in attendance along with Kevin Krueger, Service Center Director at the Company’s Solomon location.

Dickinson County Officials, Solomon City Council members and personnel from the fire department will also be in attendance.

“The Solomon Volunteer Fire Department has been a vital partner and they wholeheartly support our work to create safe and reliable electrical power solutions and services. Together, working alongside our team, they promote safety and employee wellbeing and regularly provide fire inspections and offer recommendations to safeguard our company, and employees,” says Krueger.

Brenda Meyer, Culture Manager at Sunbelt Solomon, echoed Kruegers remarks.

The Solomon Fire Department is a volunteer department located in the Midwest National Fire Protection Association region and headquartered in Solomon, KS. The department provides various services and programs to support a safe community for residents, businesses, and visitors to the area, and it is centered around service excellence in all that it does.
