Nicholas Joseph Marchand, 79, died September 2, 2020, in Salina, Kansas. He was born February 7, 1941, to Joseph and Ruth Marchand in Salina.
He married Karen Nordman September 6, 1962. They had two children, Michael (Kearney, Nebraska) and Kimberly (Emporia, Kansas).
Nicholas was a surveyor and heavy equipment operator and an avid fan of North Dakota State's football program.
He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, three grandsons, and three great grandchildren.
Private family services will be held. Memorials or donations may be made to Salina Presbyterian Manor or Salina Animal Services in care of Ryan Mortuary.
