Salina Police are currently investigating a theft, that included over $4,500 of work tools stolen.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Wednesday at around 8:00 am, reportedly multiple tools were stolen from an Evergy truck parked in the 1000 block of Quincy during the overnight hours.
Taken from the truck were three small rolls of cooper wire, two Milwaukee Packout Boxes, two sets of climbing gear and about $500 of miscellaneous hand tools that included hammers, wrenches, and pliers.
Total loss was valued at about $4700.
There was no damage to the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.
