SALINA, KAN. - Are you ready for some BBQ? There is a big fundraiser coming up on the 7th of November for the Downtown Lions Club of Salina.
"We are going to benefit the Central Kansas District 4-H," said Randall Holm with Downtown Lions. "This is our major fundraiser for the Salina Downtown Lions Club."
And apparently you have to go for the bbq beans.
" We had a member who created the beans recipie and they are famous," said Holm.
The cost $11 in advance and $13 at the door of the venue. It will be starting at five p.m. and goes to seven at the 4-H building across the Tony's Event center and across from the swimming pool.
"You can't even eat fast food for thirteen dollars," said Holm. "And we have BBQ meat for sandwiches, slaw and fantastic beans. You can also get it to go and you can buy bulk meat. A lot of people will sit down to eat. We hope you can make it out."
