Ronald Lloyd Foster, 75, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at McPherson Hospital.&nbsp; He was a Registered Surgical Nurse and retired from Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS.

Ron was born on March 22, 1948, in Miltonvale, KS, the son of Orville and Letha (Stites) Foster.&nbsp; Following high school, he went on to receive a nursing degree.

Survivors include: former sister-in-law, Rose Mary Evans (David Hearn) of McPherson, KS; half-brother, Terry Foster (Beth) of Russell, KS; half-sister, Liz Hedberg of Wichita, KS; several nieces &amp; nephews, including Robert S. Foster of McPherson, KS and Melicia Evans of McPherson, KS; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert W. Foster; and a sister, Rosalee Kern.

A private family service will be held.&nbsp; The final resting place will be in Miltonvale Cemetery.&nbsp;

Memorial donations may be given to Alzheimer’s Association in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
