On Tuesday afternoon, Field Yates confirmed that seven new Kansas City Chiefs had been added to the team's Covid-19 list as a result of positive tests.
The new list of new players is as follows
WR- Tyreek Hill
TE- Blake Bell
LB- Nick Bolton
CB- Rashad Fenton
CB- Armani Watts
G- Kyle Long
OT- Lucas Niang
These seven join seven more who were placed on the same list earlier this week according to Adam Schefter and other sources close to the team.
The complete list of 14 players includes
TE- Travis Kelce
DE- Chris Jones
LB- Willie Gay
CB- Charvarius Ward
K- Harrison Butker
WR- Josh Gordon
WR- Gehrig Dieter
Schefter also reported today that "other players are likely coming," and that according to one source, "it's a mess."
Initially, it was reported that vaccinated players like Kelce who tested positive in the first wave would be questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers but that status is subject to change as more information becomes available.
The Steelers are scheduled to travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. and as of Tuesday afternoon, there is nothing to indicate that that kickoff time will change.
The league did move three games (Raiders at Browns, Football Team at Eagles and Seahawks at Rams) during week 15 to accommodate teams with similar issues surrounding Covid-19.
