Salina Downtown, Inc., is looking for some helpers for Santa.

A Santa Shout Out was issued for children ages 4-10 to encourage donations to the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank.

"Santa wants YOU to ride in the Holiday Parade of Lights with him on Nov. 19th!" information from Salina Downtown, Inc., noted.

Children in that age group who each bring at least four packaged food items from the "Kid Approved" food list will have their names added to the Santa Hat Drawing. Santa will then draw the named of the children who get to ride with him in the Holiday Parade of Lights at 6 p.m. Nov. 19.

The last day for donations is Nov. 16. All food collected will be given to the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank

The Kid Approved list includes the following.

Please take your items to the Salina Downtown office at 134 S. Santa Fe #120.
