CONCORDIA - Cloud County Community College women's basketball play Te Araroa Sopoaga has been named a Third-Team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference women's basketball selection for her play throughout the 2021-2022 women's basketball season.

One of just two players for Cloud County to appear in and start all 31 games this season, Sopoaga would average a team-best 12.6 points per contest to go along with 8.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. Recording 10 double-doubles this season, Sopoaga would nearly record a quadruple-double in a road win at Coffeyville on February 14th by finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds, seven blocks, and six assists as CCCC would sweep the season series from the Red Ravens for their first win at Coffeyville in four seasons.

Sopoaga would have season highs of 22 points and 20 rebounds in a home win against Northwest Kansas Technical College on January 17th as the Wellington, New Zealand native would finish just two rebounds shy of tying the single-game school record. Scoring double-digit points in 23 of the 31 contests played, Sopoaga finished the year among the KJCCC leaders in blocks per game (fourth), assists per game (seventh), points per game (10th), and rebounds per game (11th).
