ELLSWORTH COUNTY—A Salina woman was injured in an accident just before 1 p.m. Tuesday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Ford Transit van driven by Joe Scott Markus, 46, Partridge, was southbound on Kansas 14.
After stopping at the stop sign at Kansas 156, the van pulled in front of a northeast bound 2016 Ram 3500 driven by Candace Renae Rice, 37, Salina. The pickup struck the van in the passenger side.
EMS transported Rice to Ellsworth County Medical Center. Markus was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
