Paul Kidwell, 92, of Clay Center, died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his residence. He was born on March 17, 1928 at Mentor, Kansas, the son of Thomas E. and Viola E. (Conley) Kidwell. Paul moved to Clay Center in 1936 with his family. He graduated from CCCHS in 1947. Paul served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Donna Webb on May 7, 1950 and she preceded him in death on November 20, 2015. Paul owned and operated Kidwell Oil and Kidwell Liquor from 1963 until 2001. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and was a charter member of the Clay Center Elks Lodge.
He is also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas; 3 sisters, Phyllis Moe, Ester Moede, Genevieve Siebold and daughter in-law, Charlotte Kidwell.
