Danny Lee Herndon, 73, a kind and gentle soul, of Salina, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022.
He was born July 10, 1948, in Independence, KS.
He worked for Raytheon Aircraft as a timekeeper and retired after 45 years of faithful and loyal service.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Virginia F. (Jones) Herndon, and brothers John Greene and Loyal Raymond Greene.
Survivors include his sister Lucy V. “Sue” Barsch and her husband; Larry W. Barsch of Clinton, IN., as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and two aunts; and many, many friends who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life service will start with a luncheon from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Salina Church of Christ, 1646 North Ninth Street, Salina, in their Church Fellowship Hall, followed by a “Come and Go Visitation” from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in the Church Auditorium.
