Marcella Mae (Buller) Ediger passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021 at the age of 99. She was born November 4, 1922, in Goessel, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Marie Buller; her siblings Ralph, Mildor, Ella and Betty Jane; and son-in-law Arthur Smith. She grew up near Lehigh, Kansas, a place that remained special to her all of her life.

She married Paul Ediger on August 12, 1947.

Marcella worked for 21 years as the bookkeeper at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro, Kansas. Paul was co-owner of Paul and Ray’s Supermarket in Hillsboro until his retirement. She enjoyed travel with Paul during their retirement years and time spent with family. She was active in the First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.

She spent the last year and a half at Parkside Homes where she so appreciated the staff and the care she received there, as does the family.

She is survived by her children Warren (Leadell) Ediger, Chris Smith, DaLene (Allan) Unruh, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
