The Saline County Road and Bridge Department has announced the temporary closing of a portion of S. Burma Road.
Weather permitting, S. Burma Road between Falun Road and Salemsborg Road will be closed to through traffic during working hours starting today through Friday and again on Monday for tree and brush trimming operations, the department noted in a news release issued this morning.
Motorists are asked to find alternate routes. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times, according to the news release.
