Obituary | Joshua Fuller of Beloit, Kansas | Roberts Family Funeral Service (mcdonaldrobertsfuneralservice.com)

May 31, 1973 - March 22, 2022

Joshua Neil Fuller, son of John C and Sherrie (Wiggins) Heiman, was born on May 31, 1973 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas.  He passed away March 22, 2022 at his home after a long battle with multiple heart issues, at the age of 48.

Josh attended Beloit Elementary and graduated from Beloit High School in 1991.  As intelligent as Josh was, after trying college out, realized it was not suited for him.  He decided to come back to Beloit to work, working first for Krones Service Center where he learned the majority of his mechanical skills.  He then went on to work for the family car dealership, Fuller Chevrolet, as the parts man.  Josh worked his way up to sales and then eventually inherited the dealership upon his father’s death.  When the dealership closed, he went on to work for Bumper to Bumper, until his health declined.

Josh loved many things.  He enjoyed fishing, the Kansas City Royals and had a voracious love of books and history.  He also was an avid gun collector.

Josh was an extremely talented musician.  He played many instruments, mastering the guitar and banjo.  Josh played with many bands throughout his life and even became close friends with a member of the folk band, The Kingston Trio.

Josh’s lifelong love of cars resulted in quite the collection.  His first car, a yellow 1976 Camaro, was purchased by Josh and his father, when Josh was just 13 years old.  It was the first love of his life.  Then he continued to add to the collection, adding an Oldsmobile Delta 88, Z28, and a Monte Carlo, just to name a few.

Josh met the love of his life, Julie (Buser) Fuller in 1998, and they were joined in marriage on April 30, 2015.  They were blessed with a daughter, Eve, born November 22, 2006.  They also owned numerous boxer dogs over the years.

Josh is survived by his loving wife Julie of the home, and their daughter Eve, sister Meaghan (Jared)Hanes of Berthoud Colorado, mother Sherrie Heiman, Berthoud, Colorado, mother-in-law Louise Buser, Cawker City, and numerous family members.

Josh is preceded in death by his father J.C. Fuller, father-in-law Jim Buser, and grandparents on both sides.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29 at the Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation with family will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 28 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Per his request, the casket will remain closed.

Memorials may be given to the Eve Fuller Education Fund.
