
The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has released its All-KCAC Women's Tennis selections as picked by the conference coaches. Kansas Wesleyan saw Karley Benson (SO/Salina, Kan.) and Michaela Crowe (FR/Overland Park, Kan.) selected to the honorable mention team.
Through the end of the regular season, Benson had a 9-13 record in all singles matches. She reached the consolation finals of the KCAC Individual Flighted Tournament in September and reached the third round of the ITA Central Regional. She won two of her final three matches to close the regular season.
Crowe posted a 10-11 record through the end of the regular season, which included a 3-5 mark at No. 2 singles within KCAC play. She got third place in the KCAC Individual Flighted Tournament in September.
KWU finished the regular season 7-6 overall and was the No. 5 seed in the KCAc tournament. The Coyotes upset No. 4 seeded Sterling in the tournament's first round to advance to the KCAC Semifinals against top seeded Ottawa at the Kossover Tennis Complex in Topeka.
