Marilyn Joyce Bogart
September 19, 1946 ~ January 24, 2024

Marilyn Joyce Bogart, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the North Central Kansas Medical Center, Concordia, Kansas.  She was born on September 19, 1946, in Belleville, Kansas to George and Mary (Roe) Mosher.

Marilyn graduated from Clifton High School in the Class of 1964.  

She married Gary Bogart on Nov. 27, 1965, at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia, Kansas.  To this union two daughters were born, Diane and Annette. 

Marilyn was employed at the Cloud County Sheriff’s Department as a secretary and also handling their clerical duties for several years.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, American Legion Post #76 Women’s Aux., VFW Post #588 Women’s Aux. and past member of Moose Lodge #1428 all of Concordia, Kansas.

She enjoyed sewing, crafting, crocheting, quilting and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchild, and all her beloved family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Morrissette (Dan), Concordia, KS; Annette Beaumont (Randy), Assaria, KS; her grandchildren, Jake Morrissette (Charissa) and a great-grandchild on the way, Houston, TX; Anna Albers (Zac), and great granddaughter, Rowan Albers Salina, KS; Allie Beaumont, Assaria, KS; & Amber Beaumont, Pittsburg, KS;  a brother, Mark Mosher (Glennifer), Mesa, AZ; sister-in-law, Anita Mosher, Wakeeney, KS; and several nieces and nephews, also her beloved dog (Sophie).

She was preceded in death by her, husband, Gary, parents, a brother, Donald Mosher.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Celebrant Samantha Stensaas officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery.  

Visitation will be from 1 pm to 8 pm with the family greeting friends from 5-7 pm, Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
