WICHITA - Kansas Wesleyan Competitice Dance posted a fourth place finish at the first competition of the season on Saturday at Friends University.
The Coyotes finished with a score of 59.03 to secure the fourth spot of the eight competing teams at the event.
Oklahoma City University was the event winner with 86.03 points, Baker was second with 76.30, Saint Mary was third with 72.17 to round out the top three teams.
Missouri Valley was fifth with 57.90 points, Ottawa was sixth with 56.33, Friends was seventh with 56.13, and Bethel was eighth with 54.50 points.
KWU will return to action on January 31 when the Coyotes host the Coyote Classic starting at 4 p.m. at Mabee Arena.
