The Salina Police Department (SPD) have made an arrest after a 14 year-old male was reportedly shot on Friday evening.

According to SPD, a 15 year-old male acquaintance of the victim has been arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center in Geary County on requested charges of Aggravated Battery and Criminal use of a Weapon
The 14 year-old victim of the shooting incident has been transported to a Wichita hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
This incident remains under investigation with additional arrests and charges possible.
