Part of W. Crawford Street has been closed for culvert work.

The Saline County Road and Bridge Department this morning announced that it had closed to through traffic W. Crawford Street from S. Muir Road to S. Lightville Road for replacement of cross-road drainage culverts.

Weather permitting, the roadway should be opened by the end of the day Friday, the department noted. 

Motorists are advised to allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies.
