The Southeast of Saline cross country teams picked up another clean sweep at the Halstead Invitational on Thursday, collecting back-to-back dual wins to start the back half of their schedule.

The boy's team, still ranked #2 in Class 3A was in rare form, dominating the field and finishing the day with just 19 points taking the top four spots and five of the top ten.

The Trojans wrapped up the meet a staggering 59 points ahead of the next closest squad in Marin, flexing their muscle over the rest of the 11-team field.

Levi Allen collected yet another race victory, finishing with a time of 16:30, just ten seconds ahead of Damion Jackson in second.

In an almost mirror image of the Southeast of Saline Invitational, Brayden and Cayden Walker finished in a footrace for the line, separated by just seven-tenths of a second.

Jacob Bircher rounded out the Trojans in the top ten with Nakari Morrical-Palmer keeping all six runners in the top 20.

On the girl’s side, the #1 ranked Lady Trojans kept up their streak of first-place finishes over 3A competition. SES wrapped up the day with 56 points, 23 clear of their next closest competition in Cheney.

Abby Commerford led the way for Southeast finishing sixth with a time of 20:33, followed in the top ten by freshman Breckyn Alderson.

SES accounted for a quarter of the top 20 as Ashley Prochazka came home in 11th, Cali Augustine took 13th and Savannah Sutton wrapped up her race in 18th, with the rest of the team making the top 25.

Both teams will head to Riley County on October 8th before wrapping up their regular season at league on October 13th.
