Edward H. Kegle, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, KS. He was born on Aug. 23, 1937 in St. Joseph, KS to Aldemar L. & Marcelline (Ouellette) Kegle.
He attended Dist. 29 grade school.
On August 23, 1958 he married Emma Derousseau at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Kansas. He was a lifetime carpenter.
Edward was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus both of Clyde.
Survivors include his 6 children, Louis Kegle, Clyde, KS.; David Kegle, Modesto, CA.; Anne Kegle, Hayward, CA.; Robert Kegle (Debbie), Oakley, CA.; Eddie Kegle, Minneapolis, MN.; Edith Kegle, Ormond Beach, FL.; brother, Bill Kegle, San Bernadino, CA; sister in law, Elaine Begnoche (Dean), Clyde, KS.; 13 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; his parents; brothers, Isadore & Duane & a sister, Carolyn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clyde with Fr. Steven Heina officiating.
