The First Friday by Downtown Salina to kickoff the month of August will be a day filled with fun that consists of live dance performances/music, live animals from the zoo, artist receptions, free-golf trials and so much more.
On August 1st, downtown Salina will have artist receptions at various locations such as the Greater Salina Community Foundation, 8th floor at the United Building from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, A Work in Progress (218 E Walnut) from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Peaceful Body (148 S Santa Fe) from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Redfern Booksellers (106 S Santa Fe) from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and the Salina Art Center (242 S Santa Fe) from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
The Rolling Hills Zoo will bring live animals to the Bath Pub (109 S Santa Fe Ave) from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Iron Street Dance Co. will put on a live dance performance at the Campbell Plaza starting at 5:15 pm.
Clubhouse Golf (117B N Santa Fe Ave) is offering free-golf trials from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Throughout the night, a live musical performance by "The Good Sam Club Band," a Rock, Country and Blues band from Overland Park, KS will be rocking it out at the Campbell Plaza from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm.
