After a thrilling come-from-behind win over the Beloit Trojans and a rout of the Lyons Lions, the Southeast of Saline football team will look to open another campaign at 3-0 when they host the Ellsworth Bearcats for homecoming.

A LOOK AT THE TROJANS
Chance Ptacek hasnāt missed a beat in his first season leading Southeast, as his Trojans won their 18th consecutive season opener over Beloit and followed that up with a thrashing of Lyons on the road.
So far, the Trojans have outscored their first two opponents 79-28, with the defense holding opponents to just 14 points per game.
THE LEFTY ASSASSIN
Tiernan Ptacek has shouldered the load of this offense, completing 31 of his 54 passes for 431 yards and 6 touchdowns compared to just 2 interceptions. Ptacek has been great on the ground as well, rushing 29 times for an additional 204 yards and three more touchdowns.
STREAKS, STREAKS, AND MORE STREAKS
This dynastic run has produced a number of impressive streaks for the Trojans. Most impressively, SES still holds a 50-game winning streak in the regular season, the longest of any program at any level in the state of Kansas.
Southeast has also won its last 18 season openers, 19 home openers, and is 40-1 in its last 41 home games.
