Thomas William Miller, 77, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 14th, 2022.
Tom was born in Salina, Kansas on September 4, 1945, a son of the late Inez (DeMars) and Leonard William Miller.
Tom served in the United States Navy aboard the carriers USS Hornet and Hancock for four years. During his time on the Hornet, he participated in the recovery of the Apollo 11 and 12 lunar modules.
He owned Tom Miller Painting and Papering and "Tommy" was a long time member of the Salina Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Nan (Luce) Miller; two sons, Ross Miller (Megan), of Salina, Kansas, Drew Miller (Whitney Gebhart-Miller), of Loveland, Colorado; and seven grandchildren, Maci, Madison, Caden, Jackson, Kyle, Lily, and Kane.
Tom is also survived by his brother, Richard "Dick" Miller (Sharalena), of Nashville, Tennessee.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21st at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina.
