It looks to be a lovely day, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.
Morning scattered showers and thunderstorms will be likely in south-central Kansas this morning. As the afternoon progresses, the showers and thunderstorm activity will become more isolated and move into southeast Kansas, NWS reported.
Afternoon highs will be seasonable or just a little below normal for this time of year, NWS noted.
