Jeneane Anne (Halloran) Reid, of Courtland, KS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14th, 2023, at the age of 77 years old.
Jeneane was born on December 26th, 1945, in Oneonta, New York, to parents William Paul Halloran and Ruth Vivian Halloran. She was raised alongside her older brother, Allen.
She attended Worcester Schools and then moved to California where she graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in 1963. Later on, she attended Cobleskill College in New York.
She was united in marriage to Carlton Roscoe Reid on December 20th, 1963, in Ontario, California. She was the mother of four children: Daniel, Carla, Allison and Eric. They spent 33 years together before his passing in June of 1996.
Jeneane loved nothing more throughout her life than to help and work with children and those in need. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, anything coffee or chocolate flavored, and spending time with her family. Her laugh was contagious and she always knew how to bring joy to a room.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother, daughter, Carla, and one grandchild, August.
She is survived by her children Daniel Reid (Charlene) of Courtland, KS, Allison Huff (Corey) of Concordia, KS, and Eric Reid (Lacey) of Greeley, CO; grandchildren, Zakary Reid (Jordan), Raven Geisler (Clarence), Kiara Boling (Tara), Liah and Carter Huff, Kieran, Marley and Elise Reid; great-grandchildren Tiberius, Zayden and Nova Reid, and Jacob Geisler, along with many other cherished family members.
A family service will be held graveside on Friday, April 28th, 2023, in Courtland, KS. Family will be available for visitation at Living Waters Family Church in Courtland, KS, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday, April 28th.
