MARION COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Monday in Marion County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Chevy Silverado driven by Patrick Oliver Dye, 49, Marion, was northbound on Nighthawk after stopping at the U.S. 50 junction.
When entering the intersection the pickup struck a westbound 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Donald W Rich, 82, Kingsville, Missouri. The impact pushed the car into the north ditch of U.S. 50.
EMS transported Rich and a passenger Joyce Rich, 83, Kingville, Missouri, to St. Luke hospital in Marion. Dye was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
