Earthquakes rattle parts of Dickinson County

Parts of Dickinson County have been rattling a bit the past couple of days.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.5 magnitude quake struck northeast of Hope at 11:40 p.m. Friday. The quake was centered west of Sage Road and south of 1000 Avenue.

A second 2.5 magnitude quake shook part of the county southwest of Hope at 7:58 a.m. Saturday. That temblor was centered east of Indy Road and south of 300 Avenue.
