MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today announced two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 144.
The following is information about the new cases as provided by the health department.
Positive case No. 143 is a symptomatic male in his 70s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 144 is a symptomatic male in his 20s with known exposure and is recovering at home.
Of the 144 confirmed cases, 131 have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines, according to the health department. Additionally, none of the current active cases are hospitalized, and one of the 144 cases has died, the health department noted.
