Wayne W. Schultz

Wayne W. Schultz, 74, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 in Kansas City, MO. He was born August 11, 1949 in Ellsworth, KS to Alfred and Madonna (Lyne) Schultz. Wayne was a lifetime resident of the Ellsworth area where he was a farmer and rancher and previously owned and operated Schultz Hardware and Welding in Lorraine, KS. He also served his country in the United States Navy. Wayne married Diann Lynn Kubick in Ellsworth on April 18, 1981. He was a member of the Ellsworth First Presbyterian Church, Brookville Saddle Club, and Odin Saddle Club.
Wayne is survived by his sister, Dianne Schultz of Ellsworth; nephew Dale Warren of Ellsworth; niece, Pamela Ames of Anacoco, LA; a great nephew; two great nieces; one great-great nephew; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Diann; and sisters, Darlene Schultz and Lois Warren.
Visitation: 4-8 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Parsons Funeral Home of Ellsworth. Family will be present to greet visitors 6-8 p.m.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2024 at Ellsworth First Presbyterian Church with burial following at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
