Wanda A. Whitesell, 89, Bennington, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center.&nbsp; She was born October 11, 1931 in Delphos to Richard and Ruby (Smith) Snyder.&nbsp;

Wanda and George H. Whitesell, Jr. were united in marriage on May 8, 1949. She taught elementary school in Saline County for 25 years and she was a member of the United Church of Bennington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Lucille Reynolds.

Survivors are her sons and their spouses, Larry (Mary), Carl (LaQuita), Richard (Sharlene), and Mark (Cathy) Whitesell; brother, Duane Snyder; and numerous grandchildren.

Private services will be held in the Delphos Cemetery.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Church of Bennington and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
