A Salina man was arrested after an alleged incident at a local sports bar and grill early Saturday morning.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 1:20 a.m. Saturday for the report of a disturbance at the Library Sports Bar & Grill, 1307 S. Santa Fe Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
An employee reported that there had been a disturbance inside the bar and grill among several people who were then asked to leave. A witness reported seeing one of the people asked to leave go to a vehicle and take out a black, semi-automatic handgun and walk toward the entrance of the bar and grill, Forrester said. As the man was walking toward the entrance, police sirens could be heard approaching the bar and grill and the man took off running, a witness told police.
Forrester said an officer located in the 1300 block of Norton Street a person who fit the description of the person who allegedly ran. A gun was found nearby. A witness identified the man as the person who had the gun at the bar and grill, Forrester said.

Dreshawn Watson, 27, of Salina, who appeared to be intoxicated, was arrested on the following requested charges, Forrester said.
