DICKINSON COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 10a.m. Monday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Jeep Patriot driven by Brittany D. Lovelace, 32, Junction City, was westbound in the 1500 block of Old 40 Highway one mile east of Detroit, Kansas.
The Jeep crossed the center line, entered the south ditch, stuck the railroad tracks and rolled onto its roof
EMS transported Lovelace and a 1-year-old passenger to the hospital in Abilene. Lovelace and the child were both properly restrained, according to the KHP.
