Hillsboro - Shirley K. Bartel, 75, died May 30, 2021 at Salem Home in Hillsboro. She was born November 25, 1945 in McPherson County to Alvin and Mabel (Hanson) Johnson. She married Gilbert Bartel July 23, 1965 in McPherson.
Survivors include: son Steve (Krista) Bartel of rural Hillsboro; daughters Kris Spence, Jenny (Jeff) Wells of McPherson; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Gilbert Bartel in 2005.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Lehigh Mennonite Cemetery, rural Lehigh.
