September 25, 1949 - August 20 2021

Robert “Bob” Allen Fink, 71, of New Cambaria, gently and lovingly was released from his earthly body Friday, August 20, 2021, with his loving and devoted family by his side.  Bob was born September 25, 1949, here in Salina to Marvin J. and Mildred (Ummel) Fink. 

Bob's last place of employment before he retired was at Twin Oaks as an auto cad designer for twelve years., though many will remember Bob when he owned and operated his own business known to many as the “Smoky Hill Trading Post.”

Bob was preceded in death by his father Marvin J. Fink in 2009. 

Those to continue to love and miss Bob are his beloved wife of 47 years, Donna Fink, sons Nathan A. Fink of Olathe, Jason P. and wife Sabrina of Salina, Robert’s mother Mildred Fink of Salina, his brother Donald Fink of Salina and his sister Kathy Fink of Littleton, CO, and of course, the three grandchildren Jacob, Morgan, and Logan.

A military graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1920 E Crawford St., Salina.

In keeping with the kind of man Bob was, the family is requesting in lieu of flowers, please, “make memorials where they will do the most good” and to the attention of the Abilene Bible Baptist Church, 409 N. Van Buren, Abilene, KS 67410.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing means keeping distance or space between people to help prevent the spread of the illness. To help slow the spread and reduce yours and the family’s risk, we are asking to please feel free to join the family graveside, but please try and refrain from encroaching under the tent that will be set up for the family.
