Car trailer, skid steer accessories among items stolen in county

GYPSUM - More than $7,500 worth of items were stolen earlier this month from a property southwest of Gypsum.

Jimmie Andrew, 69, of rural Saline County, reported that sometime between May 8 and Monday, someone stole the following items from his property in the 7900 block of S. Whitmore Road, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning.

A grapple bucket for a skid steer, valued at $1,800

A 22-foot black PJ brand car hauler trailer with Kansas license plate of 310 LWX, valued at $4,900

An 18-inch skid steer auger bit, valued at $500

A nine-inch skid steer auger bit, valued at $300

A 20-foot three-eighths-inch log chain, valued at $50

A three-eighths-inch chain binder, valued at $40
