Mollie Ann (Pool) Zook
April 13, 1941 ~ May 14, 2024

Mollie Ann (Pool) Zook, 83, passed on to her eternal home May 14th 2024. The youngest of her siblings born to John and Melissa (Gilbert) Pool on Rattle Snake Ranch in New Mexico on April 13th 1941. She grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado. Where she picked peaches in the groves.

Mollie enjoyed collecting beanie babies, reading, and coin collecting. Mollie also enjoyed spending time with her grand kids and capturing them as they grew. She loved her family more than anything, and treasured her role of wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother foster mother.

Always having a tender heart towards the Lord, Mollie understood the plan of salvation and gave her heart and life to Jesus at a young age. She endeavored to live a dedicated Godly life for her savior. Mollie was an active member of the Brethren in Christ Church until her passing. Mollie and Lyle were married December 4, 1964.

In 1966 Mollie and Lyle came to Kansas to farm and raise turkeys in partnership with his father. That same year they became the parents of Karen Joy. Two years later son Kenneth John joined the family on Christmas day. From 1973 until 2009 she, with Lyle, were foster parents to over 120 children - some for a day, but most for months to years. Regardless of the time spent in their home, each child was important and loved.

Mollie is preceded in death by her Husband Lyle Zook, parents John and Melissa Pool, brother Robert Dyer, Sister Polly Smith, great grandson Harding Shumate, She is survived by her children Karen (Mike) Corl and Kenneth (Ronda) Zook; Grandchildren, Jeffrey Zook, Allie Zook, Jason Zook, Andrea (Darrin) Shumate, Janessa Zook, Levi Zook, Andrew Corl (David), Aaron (Jesse) Corl, Anna (J.T.) Brantley, Abigail Corl; and great grandchildren Hadlee and Hazel Shumate, Easton Zook, and J.L. and Allyssa Brantley.
