
GYPSUM -- A Gypsum man was arrested Thursday night after a vehicle that was stolen in Wichita was found to be in his possession.
Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, deputies were sent to Gypsum for a report that a gray 2005 Ford Focus that was reported to have been stolen in Wichita was in the area. The car was valued at $2,500.
After looking around Gypsum, deputies located the car in the 400 block of East Second Street, Soldan said.
Deputies arrested Theodore Meadows, 44, of Gypsum, on the requested charge of possession of stolen property, Soldan said.
