⚽️ Four different Coyotes score to lead KWU past Tabor 4-1

Four different Kansas Wesleyan Women's Soccer players scored goals as the Coyotes rolled to a dominating 4-1 win over the Tabor College Bluejays on Wednesday at JRI Hospitality Stadium at the Graves Family Sports Complex.

The Coyotes were on the board first in the 10th minute as Jamie Orzel scored off an assist by Brooklyn Velotta. Velotta sent a pass down the seam to a streaking Orzel who shot to the far side netting and in.

The Coyotes held the 1-0 lead into the half.

Abby Perez scored early in the second half to extend Wesleyan's lead. Perez had a give and go play with Ashlynn Adcock, dropping a pass to Adcock who dribbled into the box and sent a ball across the face of goal to Perez who tapped it in for the goal.

Tabor scored in the 58th minute, but the Coyotes held the 2-1 lead until the 74th minute when KWU scored again.

Velotta scored to make it 3-1 off a pass from America Lopez. Lopez passed to Velotta who shot from the top of the 18-yard box and inside the near post for the goal.

The Coyotes capped the scoring in the 82nd minute as Lopez scored. After the ball was knocked out beyond the Tabor touch line, Lopez bent a corner kick inside the near side post and in to make it 4-1.

Wesleyan used a dominating second half performance outshooting Tabor 16-5 in the second 45 to outshoot the Bluejays 25-9 in the match. Velotta led the Coyotes with four shots.
