Claudine Harriette Ashcraft, 90, passed away on September 23, 2023 at Holiday Resort Health & Rehab Center in Salina, KS.
Claudine was born on June 27, 1933 in Ottawa County, KS to parents Harry and Jessie Mable Nolf Merriman.
Her and Dick had a lot of fun camping, traveling and getting together with their friends. Later, Claudine enjoyed her part time job at Arbor Court, loved going to the Senior Center to play cards with her friends, reading books, doing word search puzzles, an occasional trip to the casino and watching Wheel of Fortune on TV. She was a life member of the United Methodist Church of the Cross and always looked forward to the visits from family and friends.

Claudine is survived by; Children Marilyn Rundberg and spouse Daryl of Salina, KS, Carolyn Forristal of Salina, KS, Rhonda Estep and spouse John of Salina, KS; Others: Mary Lou Arnold (Sister) , Glenda McAfee (Sister), Jody Rundberg (Granddaughter) of Olathe, KS, Kristine Peterson (Granddaughter) and spouse Darren of Salina, KS, Justin Forristal (Grandson) of Salina, KS, Amanda Keller (Granddaughter) and spouse Doug of Salina, KS, Griffin Peterson (Great-Grandson) , Sydney Peterson (Great-Granddaughter) , Campbell Peterson (Great-Grandson) , Olivia Trow (Great-Granddaughter), Isabella Forristal (Great-Granddaughter) and numerous other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the United Methodist Church of the Cross; 1600 Rush St.; Salina, KS 67401. Inurnment of her cremains will be private at a later time in the Roselawn Memorial Park.
