Salina man accused of stealing various items from company parking lot

A Salina man was accused of a vehicle burglary on Thursday morning.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on August 20 at 8:54 am, Land Pride in Kipp (244 N. Hugh St) reported an employee vehicle burglary that occurred.

Reportedly, an 18-year-old female employee learned her vehicle had been broken into at the company's parking lot.

Various items that include a toothbrush, chrome license plate, baseball cap, vehicle detailing wipes and a windshield sun blocker were reported stolen.

Management of Land Pride reviewed surveillance video and discovered that at 8:30 am, a male had arrived, exited his vehicle at the parking lot, went to the victim's vehicle and stole the items.

Deputies learned the suspect was Lewis Beltran (38) of Salina. Deputies then went to his home and arrested him that same day at 10:30 am.

All of the items stolen were recovered.

Beltran was booked into the Saline County Jail for the requested charge of Burglary.
