ELLSWORTH - A golf tournament that is meant to help grow the economy of Ellsworth County is set to take place next month.
On Saturday, August 9th from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Grow Ellsworth County will host a "Swinging for Growth" golf tournament at the Ellsworth Golf Course on 900 E. 2nd St. All proceeds accumulated during the event will benefit Grow Ellsworth County.
Cost is $280 per team, formatted as a '4-man scramble' type tournament. Golf-cart rentals are $18 per person and will be available at the golf course.
Highlights of the golf tournament will include, raffles/prizes, generous flight payouts for 3 flights and lunch provided for free by the Ellsworth County Cancer Fund.
