
Steven Eric Milleson, 75, passed away June 10, 2025, at his home in Falun, Kansas.
Steven was born on September 21, 1949, to Elmer Milleson and Louise Mann in Salina, Kansas.
Steven was the youngest child of three. Steven served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he earned a bronze star for “displaying exceptional leadership, expeditiously accomplishing all assigned tasks, thus consistently providing his command with outstanding support”. He married Carol Jean Saltzman in 1972, in Salina, Kansas.
Steven spent his life working in several different fields, while providing an excellent life for his wife and children. He worked for many years as a carpenter, long haul truck driver, and finally retiring from Exide Batteries. Upon retirement, Steven spent most of his time gardening, smoking various meat (ribs being his specialty), and following his grandchildren’s events.
Steven is survived by his wife Carol; son Corby (Jessica) Milleson, grandchildren Taylor and Cale Milleson; son Randall (Andrea) Milleson, grandchildren Brody, Tyler, Lucas Milleson and Nick Cole; son Christopher (Misty) Milleson, grandchildren Jackie, Jamie, Rachel, Alexa, Logan Milleson, Dakota and Kinsley Nees; nephew/brother Fred (Karen) Roberts. Steven was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Schurz and brother Glen Milleson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm, Monday, June 16 at Ryan Mortuary. A reception will be held at the American Legion Post 140 in Lindsborg after the Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Kansas Humane Society in honor of Steven.
