SALINA —On Tuesday, Bobcat of Salina, 721 W. Diamond, reported the theft of a MT 100 Stand-up skid loader and trailer valued at $55,000, according to Salina Police Captain James Feldman.
Employees advised two men came into the business on April 25 to rent the equipment, which was supposed to be returned the following Monday.
When the business attempted to contact the renter, they discovered the phone number provided had been disconnected and the credit card used had been cancelled. The two subjects who had rented the equipment were described as black or Hispanic with medium length hair. One of the men had dreadlocks in their hair. They were driving a newer blue Ford F150 with unknown Missouri license plate.
