The Kansas Impact Coalition (KIC) will host its second Community Closet Free Shopping Market on Saturday, August 15, from 8:00 am to noon at The Temple, 336 S. Santa Fe Ave.
The market will feature free clothing, shoes and household goods from KIC’s Mercy on Main Community Closet.
No income requirements, no paperwork and no cost — everyone is welcome to come shop. Donations of new or gently used clothing, shoes and household items will also be accepted during the event.
Monetary donations are encouraged, but never required to shop; everything at the market remains completely free.
Due to August temperatures, the market may open earlier or move inside The Temple if extreme heat becomes a concern.
