Michael Lavon Heitkotter, 37, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He worked at Mid-Kansas Coop for six years.
Michael was born on December 13, 1985, in McPherson, KS, the son of Brinda Lynn Hall and Elvin Lavon “Skeeter” Heitkotter. He graduated from McPherson High School in 2004.
Survivors include: his mother, Brinda George (Scott Peterson) of McPherson, KS; sister, Kara George of McPherson, KS; brother, D.J. Hall of McPherson, KS; uncles, Galen Heitkotter of McPherson, KS and Ronald Heitkotter (Connie) of Bay City, CA; long-time girlfriend, Alisha Plenert and her children, Caden Burris and Karsen Burris, of McPherson, KS; his beloved faithful canine companion, Dottie; and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Breanna George; uncles, Gregory Heikotter, Kenneth Heitkotter, Jody Heitkotter, and Randy Hall.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 1, at the First Christian Church with Pastor Lynn Scott officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
