Donald Leroy Burgess, 72, of Salina, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020. He was born May 25, 1948 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He worked for CertainTeed as machine operator for 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Burgess; brother, Larry Burgess.

Survivors include his mother, Annabelle (Hoops) Burgess; wife, Sherry (Gibbs) Burgess of the home; children, Alicia (Christopher) Deaton of Smithville, Missouri, Pepper (Brett) Bones of Princeton, Kansas, Dana Livingston of Beverly, Kansas, Bronson Peterson of Kansas City, Kansas; sisters, Carol Brown of Simpsonville, South Carolina , Doris Chestnut of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers, Eddie Burgess of Ottowa, Kansas, Steve Burgess; 7 grandchildren; &nbsp;
