The Southeast of Saline Trojan baseball team picked up two more wins on Monday at Smoky Valley to advance to 11-1 on the season.

SES won game one in dominant fashion, defeating the Vikings 17-0 and continued their run in game two with a 13-3 victory to sweep the double header.

While offense shined the brightest in the first game, Landen Allen looked impeccably sharp on the bump for SES, stifling the Vikings lineup allowing just two hits in a four inning shutout.

The Trojan lineup kept the line moving one through nine, scoring four runs in the first, three in the third and ten in the fourth en route to a brief run-rule victory.

Things continued to roll for Southeast in game two as the team put 13 runs on the board by the end of the fourth and turned the ball over to their pitching to secure a second win by mercy rule.

Luke Gebhardt had a monster day at the plate, going 5/7 with eight RBIs on the day in the two wins.

At 11-1, SES boasts one of the best records in the state and will be back in action this evening when the team travels to Minneapolis for another road double header.
