The Saline County Road and Bridge Department plans to close part of S. Kipp Road beginning Friday for drainage structure work.
S. Kipp Road between E. Cloud Street and E. Crawford Street will be closed to traffic beginning Friday for the replacement of a drainage structure. Weather permitting the roadway should be opened by Oct. 29.
Local drivers are asked to find alternate routes around the project area. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies.
