REPUBLIC COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 10a.m. Sunday in Republic County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Conrad Eldon Trost, 50, Concordia, was southbound on 180 Road and failed to come to a complete stop at at Kansas 148.
The pickup struck an eastbound 2016 Ford Taurus driven by Monica Ann Cherney, 34, Concordia.
EMS transported Cherney to the Republic County Hospital. Trost was not wearing a seat belt and not injured, according to the KHP.
